Here to Stay II: An El Pueblo Benefit
November 18 @ 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Please join us for an afternoon of performances standing in solidarity with the undocumented community. All proceeds will benefit local youth programs at El Pueblo, Inc..
“Here to Stay” was created in 2017 as a reaction to Donald Trump rescission of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).
The purpose of DACA is to protect eligible immigrant youth who came to the United States when they were children from deportation. DACA gives young undocumented immigrants: 1) protection from deportation, and 2) a work permit.
DACA recipients are your friends, your classmates, your neighbors, and your co-workers.
Last year, we raised $1100 from door donations.
This year, “Here to Stay” returns with another all day lineup of local musicians to help raise money for El Pueblo Inc.’s youth programs so their youth leaders can continue their work for the undocumented community.
18+ // $10 dollar minimum donation at the door
17 and under // $5 minimum donation at the door
